Selrico Communications About Us Selrico Communications builds underground fiber optic and communications infrastructure for municipalities, TxDOT, utility providers, and commercial customers throughout the Greater Houston area. What You'll Do Install underground fiber conduit, HDPE conduit, handholes, vaults, and pull boxes Assist with HDD, missile boring, trenching, and excavation Pull, blow, and place fiber optic cable Restore concrete, asphalt, sidewalks, and job sites Read utility prints and construction plans Follow OSHA, TxDOT, and company safety standards Complete daily field reports and production logs Qualifications 2+ years of underground utility or fiber optic construction experience Experience working around existing utilities (electric, gas, water, sewer, telecom) Ability to read construction prints and utility maps Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Able to lift 75+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions Must pass a drug screen, background check, and MVR review Preferred Experience Experience with: Horizontal Directional Drills (Ditch Witch, Vermeer) Mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, vacuum excavators Municipal fiber, ITS, TxDOT, or carrier backbone projects OSHA 10/30, Flagger, CDL, Trench Safety, or Confined Space certifications Pay & Benefits $18-$30/hour (DOE) Overtime available Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) with up to 6% company match Paid holidays & vacation
