Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Demolition Worker, General Labor, where your energy and dedication will help transform spaces through safe and efficient demolition practices. In this vital role, you'll be at the forefront of preparing sites for new construction or renovation projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge to ensure every task is completed with precision. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise across various facets of construction and demolition, contributing to impactful projects that shape communities. Responsibilities Safely demolish structures, including buildings, walls, and fixtures, following project plans and safety protocols Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to dismantle and remove materials efficiently Read blueprints and schematics to understand project scope and demolition requirements Assist with site cleanup, debris removal, and recycling efforts to maintain a tidy work environment Support other construction activities such as framing, concrete forming, masonry, or installation tasks as needed Conduct inspections of demolition sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications Use construction management software like Bluebeam for documentation and project tracking Requirements Prior experience in construction site work or demolition preferred; familiarity with construction inspection and estimating is a plus Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of safety procedures related to demolition activities and construction sites Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, or masonry work is advantageous Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join us if you're ready to bring your hands-on skills into a fast-paced environment where every day presents new challenges!
