Job Description
Overview We are seeking skilled workers with experience in various aspects of construction, including welding, fabrication, concrete forming, and pipe fitting to join our rapidly expanding team. MDC Waste and Environmental Services is a highly successful commercial construction company specializing in water and wastewater treatment plants. We have multiple openings for our Field Construction crews with job sites located in Montgomery, Waller, Harris and the surrounding counties. Duties Assist experienced carpenters and contractors with various tasks and projects, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard. Assist experienced Field Superintendent with the installation of manifolds and everything pertaining to the task at hand. Support construction painting projects, including surface preparation and painting. Collaborate with construction management team to ensure that all tasks are completed. Perform general construction tasks, including clean-up, waste removal, and equipment maintenance. Operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction sites. Utilizing power tools and ensuring proper handling and safety. Adhering to safety standards. Skills Proven experience as a general Lobor or in a related construction role. Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials and framing. Familiarity with reading drawings. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Excelent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work safely and follow safety protocols. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Crew Expectations Dependability
