Job Opportunity:

Laborer The City of Nacogdoches Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated Laborer to join our Streets Division ! This role directly impacts the safety and appearance of our city streets and infrastructure.

What You Will Do:

Road Maintenance :

Patch potholes, seal cracks and repair streets using asphalt and concrete.

Traffic Safety :

Paint crosswalks, parking lines and maintain traffic signage.

Groundskeeping :

Trim vegetation and prune rights-of-way.

Manual Labor :

Load/unload heavy materials and operate hand tools and equipment.

Equipment Care :

Perform basic preventative maintenance on tools.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED. Experience in street maintenance OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid Texas Driver License.
