Key Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled masons in the construction, repair, and restoration of structures made of brick, block, and stone.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load and unload construction materials and move them to work areas.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and mortar.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding and temporary structures.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to perform manual labor tasks.
• Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.
• Assist in aligning, positioning, and securing materials during installation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Comply with safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe worksite.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support construction activities.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in construction or masonry is preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
• Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate with team members.
