The Laborer supports construction activities by operating, maintaining, and repairing machinery and equipment, marking and measuring project areas, and assisting equipment operators. This role requires reliability, physical capability, and attention to detail on active job sites.
Key Responsibilities:
Tend pumps, compressors, or generators to provide power for tools or equipment.
Operate equipment used to heat or move materials such as asphalt.
Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools.
Signal equipment operators to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery.
Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work requirements.
Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to lay out construction work areas.
Assist with general labor on job sites assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED (required).
No experience required.
Must be physically capable of performing labor tasks.
Class C drivers license preferred (for vehicles designed to transport 16+ passengers or hazardousmaterialsplacarded vehicles).
