Job description Saratoga Homes is a family/privately owned Top 100 Home Builder seeking a Field Tech. The Field Tech is responsible for preparing the site for various construction tasks and completing certain construction and repair lists for those homes in progress. This position is also responsible for certain warranty service work as well as keeping the overall job site safe and clean.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist Foreman and Construction Manager requested; communicating in a timely manner regarding any requests. Check materials received for quality and correct quantities providing utility measurements and material counts as requested. Prepare site by opening and closing homes under construction. Finish stage of construction Initiative to know the stages of the homes and complete trim list per stage of construction. Walk home room by room to fix items as needed. Applying finish to homes (sheet rock patches, moving and closing doors, replacing of windows and calking). Generally responsible for small details which polish a new home to meet Saratoga Homes' quality standards and specifications. Complete duty roster while maintaining a sense of urgency as well as willingness to do meticulous work in a timely fashion. Inspection stage of construction Check and repair items before inspections. Complete all field inspection items. Warranty Service and Customer Service Process Perform promptly, thoroughly, and satisfactorily all assigned warranty service work as necessary. First Impressions To upkeep the model home park which the Field Technician is assigned. Work closely with Marketing Manager to guarantee a positive first impression to each home inside and outside. Respond in a timely manner to all directives received, pertaining to any action required for maintenance of model homes, sales center and community first impression. Insure work is completed promptly. Maintain overall job site cleanliness in accordance with Saratoga Homes' construction methods and practices.
