In this vital role, you will be instrumental in implementing erosion prevention measures to protect construction sites and surrounding environments. Duties Assist with the installation and maintenance of erosion control measures such as silt fences, sediment barriers, erosion control blankets, seeding and mulching. Support excavation and grading activities using hand tools and power tools to prepare sites for erosion control installation. Read and interpret site plans to ensure proper placement of erosion control devices. Identify damage or failure of erosion control measures and perform necessary repairs. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate site activities, ensuring adherence to safety standards and project timelines. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment efficiently for various site tasks as needed. Qualifications Prior construction site experience preferred; familiarity with erosion control practices is a plus but not required. Experience operating heavy equipment such as loaders or excavators is advantageous but not required. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction environments.
