October 2026 A1 Construction Group is hiring Construction Helpers for an industrial/commercial construction project in Chesapeake, Virginia. Job Responsibilities Assist pipe fitters, welders, and other construction personnel with daily field activities Help with material handling, loading/unloading, and moving tools and materials Assist with pipe preparation, installation, and general construction work Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow directions from supervisors and foremen Support general site operations as needed Follow all project safety requirements and site rules Qualifications Previous construction or field experience preferred, but entry-level candidates are welcome Ability to perform physical work in a construction site environment Ability to lift and move construction materials as required Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn Ability to work effectively as part of a team Must be able to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructions Must be able to pass a background check prior to employment Employment & Benefits Full-Time / W-2 employment $18•22 per hour, depending on experience Approximately 6-month project Expected start: October 2026 Project location: Chesapeake, VA Meal (lunch) provided How to Apply Please submit your resume to .
