JOB REQUIREMENTS
LiUNA! is currently seeking General Laborers to join us to work in Chester, VA on a long term project. The ideal candidate will have experience working at a Water Treatment Plant in a construction industry under direct supervision of the foremans and skilled personnel. To include but not limited to the following experience: Assist plant operators and maintenance staff with daily task Help inspect and maintain equipment and tools Load and unload materials and supplies as needed Knowledge of safety protocols, regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment Remove debris and waste from tanks, filters and other plant components Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, operating hand and power tools safely and effective Strong teamwork skills and communication abilities Willingness to work in various weather conditions Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must have a current OSHA 10 card
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Comfortable working in a loud environment Physically and medically qualified to wear required personal protective equipment Proficient in reading, writing, hearing, and communicating with all types of personnel Willingness to work as assigned by supervisor to ensure successful completion of ongoing or new construction projects Performs a variety of strenuous manual labor tasks Lifts, carries, and holds building materials, tools, and supplies Participates in Safety & Environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with State/Federal regulations Willingness to perform other duties as assigned Apply today and tell us about your construction experience!
