Job Description
Job Summary Valley Gutters is a growing local gutter and exterior repair business. We are looking for a reliable, hands-on person with construction, roofing, siding, gutter, or exterior remodeling experience. This is outdoor work involving ladders, measuring, loading materials, removing old gutters, installing gutters/guards, and jobsite cleanup. Must have a valid driver's license, strong work ethic, and be comfortable working at heights. Responsibilities Support lead installers by preparing work sites, handling materials, and assisting with gutter installation processes. Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and install gutters, downspouts, and related components according to project specifications. Assist with the setup and teardown of scaffolding, ladders, and safety equipment to ensure a secure working environment. Follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions to accurately perform exterior construction tasks such as trim/fascia carpentry, caulking, and fixture installation. Help maintain a clean and organized work area by removing debris and ensuring tools are properly stored after use. Collaborate with team members on various exterior projects including roofing, siding, masonry, or restoration work as needed. Adhere strictly to safety protocols while operating heavy equipment or working at heights to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Prior experience in construction or related outdoor labor roles is preferred but not required; we value motivation and a strong work ethic. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and basic measurement reading is advantageous. Knowledge of construction management practices or construction site safety procedures is a plus. Experience with specific skills such as roofing, masonry, glazing, or carpentry can enhance your contribution but is not mandatory. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while maintaining high standards of quality workmanship. Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials, working at heights, and performing physically demanding tasks throughout the day - all types of weather.
