Job Description
Skillforce is hiring Construction Laborers for ongoing projects throughout Northern Virginia. As a Construction Laborer, you will be responsible for site preparation, material handling, and general labor support across an active commercial construction site.
Construction Laborer Pay:
$18.00 to $20.00, depending on experienceConstruction Laborer Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 40 hours plus overtime.Construction Laborer Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare active construction sites by removing debris, tools, and other hazards from work areas. Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and equipment safely around the jobsite. Dig, backfill, and perform basic site grading and excavation support as directed by the site supervisor. Build, take down, and reposition temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades as project needs change. Operate basic hand and power tools safely, and assist skilled trades on-site with general labor support as needed.Construction Laborer Qualifications:
You are authorized to work in the United States. You have at least one to two years of hands-on commercial construction experience. You are reliable, punctual, and able to follow direction from site supervisors and lead trades on a busy jobsite. You have reliable transportation to and from the jobsite for every scheduled shift. You provide your own basic PPE, including a hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe work boots.Construction Laborer Benefits:
