In this vital role, you'll be hands-on with a variety of tasks that support the successful completion of construction projects. From assisting with concrete work and framing to operating power tools and ensuring safety protocols are followed, you'll be an essential part of creating durable, high-quality structures. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful construction endeavors. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to support various tasks Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving materials, equipment, and debris around the site Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure quality results Install rebar, metal studs, framing, and perform masonry work according to blueprints and schematics Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute tasks accurately Follow all safety regulations related to construction workplace safety standards and protocols Skills Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating tools and understanding construction equipment Construction estimating skills for assessing materials and project requirements (nice-to-have) Experience with hardscape installation, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or renovation projects (preferred) Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise execution of tasks Proficiency with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and formwork construction Knowledge of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete cutting equipment Experience working on diverse construction projects such as restoration or framing carpentry (preferred) Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on quality work standards This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects.
