We are looking for a qualified applicant with experience in construction. Experience in Utility construction is a plus. We are currently recruiting for a Laborer who has Warehouse/Procurement experience to be based at our corporate office which is located in Milton, Washington. At Cannon, you will be responsible for tracking and/or safely transporting construction equipment and materials to various job sites in the greater Puget Sound region. This position requires a Class A CDL with brake endorsement. Local deliveries only. Occasionally you will perform light duty construction work and assist with organizing, cleanliness, stocking and inventory control of shop / warehouse.

Requirements:

Class A CDL License, with air brake endorsement required Must have a valid Drivers License 2-3 years Heavy Equipment operating experience Must have the ability to understand and follow specific oral instructions, ability to read and understand blueprints and drawings. Proficient with excel & word Have a positive attitude and be highly motivated Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Current DOT Physical card

Responsibilities:

Under general supervision operate heavy equipment and perform routine maintenance including cleaning Track inbound and outbound construction materials Safely transport material and equipment to construction job sites in CDL truck. To gain and maintain trust & respect of team by being approachable, empathetic and can mentor others Work efficiently and effectively with little supervision Is innovative and highly collaborative Has initiative and drive and can multitask To gain knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications field May also loads dirt from streets into a truck; Digs ditches, trenches, and post holes and loads and transports construction materials, pick up debris on and around the work site.
