This role requires physical strength, endurance, and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Site Preparation:
Clear debris, level the ground, and prepare areas for planting and construction.
Plant Installation:
Plant trees, shrubs, flowers, and grass according to design plans, ensuring proper placement and spacing.
Hardscape Installation:
Assist in the construction of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other structures using materials like stone, brick, and concrete.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate landscaping machinery and tools, such as small excavators.
Irrigation Systems:
Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in landscaping or construction is advantageous but not mandatory.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Skills:
Familiarity with basic landscaping and construction techniques; ability to use hand and power tools.
Communication:
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with a team.
Licenses/Certifications:
A valid driver's license may be required. Certifications in landscaping or related fields are a plus.
Pay:
$22.00 - $30.00 per hour
