Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and take charge of operating a wide range of construction machinery to bring projects to life! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our construction sites, ensuring efficient, safe, and precise operation of heavy equipment. Your expertise will help us build infrastructure, commercial facilities, and more, all while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Duties Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction equipment with precision and safety. Manage various trucks such as front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials across the site. Assist with concrete mixing operations using concrete mixers and support related tasks like pouring and spreading concrete. Conduct routine inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance; perform basic maintenance and report any mechanical issues promptly. Follow safety protocols strictly while working on construction sites; ensure all operations comply with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and meet project deadlines. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and operational activities for accountability and reporting purposes. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and similar machinery. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with site safety procedures and operational protocols. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform basic maintenance checks and troubleshoot equipment issues. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent certification for operating large trucks like dump trucks or tanker trucks. Ability to operate specialized machinery including concrete mixers, water trucks, roll-off trucks, farm machinery, and tanker units. Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics coordination. Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team environment.
