Construction Technician Kapur & Associates - 4.0 Milwaukee, WI Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Civil engineering Blueprint specification interpretation Outdoor work Driver's License Associate's degree Full Job Description Milwaukee, WI Construction Department Full-Time Kapur is seeking a Construction Technician who will be responsible for serving as an on-site inspector overseeing various aspects of the construction project.
Responsibilities:
Perform on-site inspection for construction projects. Perform materials testing, take measurements, and record work quantities. Perform engineering calculations and assist with project documentation. Perform basic survey duties on construction projects. Assist Engineers with day-to-day tasks. Work cooperatively with project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors.
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Civil Engineering Technology Familiarity with WisDOT and local agency procedures for design and construction. WisDOT Highway Technician Certification Program (HTCP) certifications or ability to obtain desirable. Valid driver's license. Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications. Strong work ethic Time management skills Attention to detail Ability to recognize and communicate issues as the arise. Works within precise limits or standards of accuracy Ability to work in variable weather conditions (rain, heat, snow, etc.) for work outdoors in addition to nights and weekends. Ability to lift and/or move objects that can range from 20 to 60 pounds while moving testing equipment or material samples Kapur is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer.
