Landscape Construction Laborer Greenwise | Milwaukee, WI | Full-Time $18.00-$25.00 per hour, depending on experience About Greenwise Greenwise is a trusted provider of professional landscape services in the greater Milwaukee area, built on a commitment to quality craftsmanship, client satisfaction, and a team that takes pride in every project. We are growing and looking for a skilled, motivated Landscape Construction Technician to join our crew and help us deliver exceptional results for our clients. About the Role As a Landscape Construction Technician at Greenwise, you will play a hands-on role in the installation and construction of residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the Milwaukee area. This is a physically active, field-based position ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in their craft, and is looking to build a long-term career in the landscape industry. Key Responsibilities Install hardscape features including paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, and steps Perform landscape installation including planting, mulching, grading, and sodding Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently Read and interpret job site plans and follow project specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout each project Work collaboratively with crew members and crew leads to complete projects on time and to standard Communicate professionally with clients and team members on-site Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment as needed What We're Looking For Prior experience in landscape construction, hardscape installation, or a related field preferred — willing to train the right candidate Valid driver's license — required Ability to operate hand tools and small equipment safely Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a team-first mindset Ability to follow direction and take pride in the quality of finished work Reliable transportation to job sites Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the season What We Offer $18.00-$25.00 per hour, based on experience Opportunity to grow and advance within a company that values its people A supportive team environment focused on craftsmanship and quality Health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company participation Physical Requirements This role involves regular, sustained physical activity in an outdoor environment.
Candidates must be able to:
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods throughout the workday Lift and carry up to 60 lbs independently Work outdoors in varying weather conditions throughout the season Operate hand tools, power tools, and small landscape equipment safely Perform digging, grading, and material handling tasks throughout the workday E-Verify Participation Greenwise participates in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's E-Verify program to confirm the employment eligibility of all newly hired employees.
