Position Objectives:

The Installer, through skills and experience in carpentry, electrical and/or mechanical piping assembly performs duties, as part of a team to ensure completion of quality construction and retrofitting of trucks and/or trailers to customer specifications. It really boils down to understanding how to use tools; welding or automotive painting skills are a plus but not required. •additional skill sets could increase the pay range.

Job Requirements and Primary Responsibilities:

Skills and desire to perform high quality installations. Use various hand and power tools in performance of installation.

Required Skills:

Must be able to read diagrams and blueprints. Must have working knowledge of equipment application, compatibility, mounting techniques, programming and testing.

Required Experience and Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in construction, electrical and/or mechanical piping assembly.

Preferred Qualifications:

Solve problems with a deal of variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

Physical Requirements:

Required to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds and will regularly lift up to 25 pounds such as doing product installations, movement of equipment and materials etc. The employee is most of the time is required to walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and reach above shoulders.
