Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking General Laborer/Material Transport Driver to assist with material handling, transportation, and general labor duties between our warehouse and various job sites. A key responsibility of this position is safely towing and operating a dump trailer . Applicants must have prior experience hauling trailers and be comfortable maneuvering, backing, loading, unloading, and transporting a dump trailer between locations. Responsibilities Safely tow a dump trailer between the warehouse and various job sites Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment Properly connect and disconnect trailers, including checking hitch connections, safety chains, lights, brakes, and load security Confidently maneuver and back a truck and dump trailer in job-site and warehouse environments Operate the dump trailer safely when unloading materials Transport construction materials, debris, equipment, and supplies as needed Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers Move, organize, and stage materials within the warehouse and at job sites Perform general labor duties as directed by supervisors or job-site crews Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, truck, trailer, and work area Perform basic pre-trip checks and report any vehicle, trailer, tire, brake, lighting, or equipment concerns Follow all company and job-site safety procedures Assist with additional warehouse and job-site duties as needed Requirements Previous experience towing and hauling a dump trailer is required Must be confident backing, parking, turning, and maneuvering a truck with a trailer attached Experience hauling loaded trailers and properly securing loads Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate the truck and trailer combination required for the position Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, loading, and unloading materials Dependable transportation and reliable attendance Ability to follow instructions and work independently when transporting materials Strong attention to safety and awareness of surroundings Construction, warehouse, landscaping, or similar labor experience is preferred
