Job Description
Project Superintendent - Kodiak, Alaska Osborne Construction Company Osborne Construction Company (OCC) is an employee-owned general contractor with a reputation for delivering high-quality projects across Alaska and the western United States. With offices in Redmond, WA, Fairbanks, and Anchorage, we specialize in a wide range of construction projects and are proud of the professionalism, expertise, and dedication of our team. We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to join our Alaska operations. This is an opportunity to lead field operations on complex construction projects while working with a collaborative team that values safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Compensation:
$145,000-$165,000 DOE What You'll Do- Lead all field construction activities and personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Develop and manage project schedules, daily reports, field quality checklists, punch lists, commissioning activities, and project closeout processes
- Coordinate site logistics plans, project office setup, site inspections, and overall jobsite operations
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, self-performed work, and multiple trades throughout the project lifecycle
- Review and approve monthly subcontractor and vendor billings
- Implement corporate safety requirements, project-specific safety plans, and hazard analysis plans
- Mentor and develop Foremen and field personnel to support long-term organizational growth
- Participate in business development and estimating efforts within your area of expertise
- Maintain working knowledge of owner contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders
- Travel as required to support project needs What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience managing general construction projects valued at $10M+ in Alaska (Climate Zone 8)
- Experience managing construction projects on military installations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated success managing multiple trades, subcontractors, and self-performed work operations
- Strong knowledge of building construction means and methods, drawings, specifications, and project execution
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction scheduling software
- OSHA 30 Certification required
- Current CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment)
- Valid driver's license required
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills What We Offer
