Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Paving Foreman to lead and oversee paving projects. In this role, you will coordinate all aspects of paving operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise paving crew, managing daily operations on construction sites to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality execution. Manage subcontractors and vendors, overseeing their work to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications. Enforce OSHA safety protocols, conducting regular safety meetings and site inspections to maintain a safe work environment. Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring all paving work meets industry standards and client expectations. Coordinate construction schedules with other trades, managing project timelines effectively to avoid delays. Supervise on-site personnel, providing clear management communication, training, and performance feedback. Review construction drawings for accuracy and clarity; interpret technical details for team implementation. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction with a focus on paving projects. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment; previous supervising experience required. Extensive understanding of construction safety management practices aligned with OSHA standards. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction plans accurately. Excellent communication skills for managing crews, subcontractors, and clients.
Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
