Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and safety standards Collaborate with subcontractors, and vendors to develop timely completion of each phase, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts to prevent delays Maintain strict adherence to company build time goals Hold subcontractors accountable for quality, timeliness, and scope of work Communicate daily with trade partners to confirm expectations and upcoming schedules Perform routine quality inspections throughout each stage of construction and oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards while maintaining efficient workflow Conduct pre-drywall, pre-closing, and final walk through inspections Manage punch lists and ensure timely completion prior to closing Conduct homeowner meetings and walk throughs at key construction milestones Help ensure a smooth Certificate of Occupancy (C/O) process and successful home closing Candidate will be working in both Tuscaloosa and Birmingham areaQualifications:
3-5+ years of residential construction supervision experience. Extensive experience with construction site management and hands on knowledge of construction processes across various project types Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast paced environments Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications Proven leadership ability with confidence to hold trades accountable Excellent communication and organizational skills People oriented with strong interpersonal skills Comfortable speaking with homeowners and resolving important issues with professionalism Strong problem solving and decision making ability. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Preferred Experience:
Experience with production home building. Familiarity with construction management software. Experience with cycle time improvement and job site cleanliness. Experience working toward high homeowner satisfaction scores.
