Job Description
Job Overview An expanding Tuscaloosa real estate development and property management firm has available a full-time, year-round position for a Construction & Property Management Specialist. Responsibilities will include working in a wide variety of construction and renovation areas, including Residential Plumbing and Electrical wiring; General Carpentry; Roofing; General Household repairs; Large and small hand tool operation; and heavy equipment/Excavation. Looking for an individual that has the full spectrum of trades skills but that also can develop into a leadership role as manager of commercial real estate, which would include management of new construction and maintenance activities, leasing, and renovation of office space, apartments and homes in the Tuscaloosa area. Ideally, the position would assume responsibility for real estate development/renovation and property management functions over time and develop into an equity sharing role. Preferred skills and abilities include some or all of the following:
- General carpentry skills, including framing, finish work, etc.
- Plumbing and electrical experience
- Comprehensive residential maintenance experience
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
- Interest in working as part of a proven real estate leadership team and professionally developing within the field.

Pay:
