Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced New Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee multiple residential construction projects from start to finish. This role is vital in ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, to the highest quality standards and deliver an exceptional experience for our home buyers. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and a deep understanding of construction management software and industry regulations. As a key leader on-site, you will manage subcontractors, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction standards. Your energetic approach and proactive leadership will drive project success and foster a collaborative work environment. Responsibilities Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of new construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, safety protocols and ensure buyer's satisfaction is met. Manage and supervise construction crews and subcontractors, providing clear direction and maintaining high performance standards. Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction schedules to ensure accurate implementation of project plans. Utilize construction management software such as BuilderTrend, Slack and other tools to monitor project progress, update schedules, and manage documentation efficiently. Oversee quality control processes by conducting regular site inspections, reviewing construction drawing compliance, and ensuring work meets all specifications. Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve issues promptly. Review construction schedules regularly to identify potential delays or conflicts; adjust plans proactively to keep projects on track. Coordinate inspections and communicating with office staff, vendors and home buyers. Skills Extensive experience with residential construction projects from inception through completion. Proficiency in construction management software such as BuilderTrend, Slack OSHA safety regulations knowledge. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and schematics accurately. Proven track record in managing teams in a construction management role with excellent supervisory skills. Excellent communication skills for managerial oversight; ability to manage crews effectively while maintaining positive team dynamics. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations; committed to enforcing OSHA standards rigorously on-site. Ability to interpret IRC codes and city inspection requirements in NWA.
