Job Title:
Federal Project Manager - Construction A nationally recognized, top-tier general contractor is seeking an experienced Federal Project Manager to lead complex government construction projects across the U.S. This role is ideal for a driven construction leader who understands the unique requirements, compliance standards, and logistics involved in federal work. What You'll Do Manage all phases of federal construction projects from preconstruction through closeout Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control efforts Coordinate with government stakeholders, contracting officers, and on-site inspectors Oversee subcontractor procurement, negotiations, and performance Ensure strict compliance with federal, safety, and quality standards Drive risk management, change order management, and reporting processes Lead and mentor project teams to deliver on time and on budget What You'll Bring 7+ years of experience managing ground-up commercial construction projects Proven experience delivering federal/government projects (DoD, USACE, NAVFAC, GSA, etc.) Strong knowledge of federal contracting requirements and documentation Ability to obtain or maintain federal security clearance (preferred) Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred If you're a seasoned Project Manager with federal construction experience looking to take on impactful, mission-critical projects, this is an opportunity worth exploring.
