About Commercial Construction Group Commercial Construction Group (CCG) is a commercial general contractor headquartered in North Little Rock, AR, with an active project portfolio spanning multiple states. We specialize in behavioral health facilities, ground-up commercial construction, and complex renovation projects. Our team is built on skilled tradespeople and project leaders who take ownership of their work from mobilization through closeout. Position overview We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead day-to-day field operations across active project sites throughout Arkansas. This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and delivering quality results on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is a proven field leader with strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to site management. Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of commercial construction projects from mobilization through final closeout, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements Direct and coordinate subcontractors and field personnel to meet project milestones and quality benchmarks Maintain and update project schedules; identify potential delays and implement corrective action proactively Conduct and lead subcontractor coordination meetings; communicate clearly with project managers, clients, architects, and engineers Enforce site safety policies and ensure zero-incident compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards Maintain accurate daily logs, RFIs, submittals, and field documentation using construction management software Perform quality control inspections throughout all construction phases; verify work meets design intent and code requirements Manage material deliveries, equipment logistics, and site operations to support efficient daily production Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of commercial construction superintendent experience Demonstrated ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and structural systems Proficiency with construction management and field documentation software (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred Valid driver's license; ability to travel to project sites throughout Arkansas Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Preferred Experience with behavioral health, healthcare, or institutional construction projects Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent field experience accepted Work location & travel This position is based out of North Little Rock, AR. Project site travel throughout Arkansas is required. A company truck is included with this position. CCG covers fuel and vehicle-related expenses so you can stay focused on the job.
