Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent for civil construction to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, extensive construction site experience. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements while maintaining clear communication with project stakeholders. Responsibilities Lead daily operations on construction sites, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules. Oversee safety protocols in compliance with OSHA standards, conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe work environment. Review blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Conduct quality control inspections to verify that work meets specified standards, codes, and client expectations. Facilitate communication between clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly and keep projects on track. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in supervising large-scale projects. Extensive construction site experience with a solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics. Strong management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA regulations. Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics and blueprints accurately. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance activities.
