Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead structural steel construction projects from award through completion. This individual will be responsible for managing project execution, budgets, schedules, change orders, client relationships, and cross-functional coordination while ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Manage structural steel projects from kickoff through completion.
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource planning.
  • Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, detailers, and field teams.
  • Review construction drawings and project plans to ensure accuracy and execution.
  • Manage contractual obligations and project documentation.
  • Review and approve change orders while maintaining project profitability.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare status reports and provide updates to leadership and clients.
  • Travel to project sites as needed to support project execution.

  • 3+ years of Project Manager/Construction Manager experience within the structural steel industry OR experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Assistant PM with related detailing/drafting experience.
  • Experience managing multiple commercial or industrial construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction
  • -Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Business.
  • Experience mentoring Project Managers, Coordinators, or Administrators.
  • Knowledge of Tekla and 3D modeling practices.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
