A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

Job Description
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage structural steel projects from kickoff through completion.
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, procurement, and resource planning.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, contractors, detailers, and field teams.
- Review construction drawings and project plans to ensure accuracy and execution.
- Manage contractual obligations and project documentation.
- Review and approve change orders while maintaining project profitability.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Prepare status reports and provide updates to leadership and clients.
- Travel to project sites as needed to support project execution.

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 3+ years of Project Manager/Construction Manager experience within the structural steel industry OR experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, or Assistant PM with related detailing/drafting experience.
- Experience managing multiple commercial or industrial construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction
- -Management, Civil/Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Business.
- Experience mentoring Project Managers, Coordinators, or Administrators.
- Knowledge of Tekla and 3D modeling practices.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Suite.
