Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Foreman specialized in Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) remediation to lead and oversee field operations on energy storage projects. This pivotal role involves managing construction activities, supervising teams, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating project schedules to deliver high-quality results efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, technical expertise in electrical systems, and proven leadership skills to drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews during BESS remediation projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within scope. Coordinate daily construction activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritization using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of project plans. Manage subcontractors and vendors, overseeing contracts, scope of work, and quality control measures. Enforce adherence to federal construction safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety protocols throughout all project phases. Monitor project progress through site inspections, quality assurance checks, and use of tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary. Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, safety records, change orders via Prolog or similar systems, and project schedules. Collaborate with project managers to develop budgets, track costs, and ensure efficient use of resources while managing construction schedules and timelines. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations, review safety procedures, and address any issues promptly. Ensure compliance with all construction regulations and standards specific to commercial energy storage facilities. Qualifications Proven experience managing heavy construction projects with a focus on electrical or energy storage systems; prior BESS remediation experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera P3 or similar tools. Familiarity with contracts management (Prolog), project scheduling (Primavera P6), budgeting tools like HeavyBid or equivalent. Extensive construction site experience with the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Demonstrated supervisory skills managing teams in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and federal safety standards applicable to construction sites involving electrical systems. Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews and coordination with stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical drawings and electrical testing results using tools such as Ohmmeter for quality assurance purposes.
