Job Description
Site Manager A leading industrial services organization is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee 24/7 operations at a high‑activity facility in Decatur, AL. This role is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong operational, maintenance, and safety expertise, along with the ability to manage people, processes, and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary on‑site leader, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient daily operations across a 24/7 environment. Act as the site's main point of contact for customers, vendors, regulatory agencies, and other external partners. Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, capital planning, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements and revenue growth. Lead, motivate, and develop a team through effective staffing, coaching, training, and performance management. Direct and support maintenance activities, including preventive programs and heavy‑equipment oversight. Drive project planning and execution, contributing to long‑term business planning and operational strategy. Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and ethical work practices in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in operations management within steel, scrap, aggregate, construction, or similar industrial sectors. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs, industrial safety standards, and heavy‑equipment operations. Prior leadership experience in a maintenance environment is highly desirable. Strong project management, planning, communication, and writing skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams. Self‑driven, solutions‑oriented, resilient, and able to perform in a fast‑paced environment. #JDP
