This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee system design, cost estimation, and project scheduling for large-scale electrical installations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for delivering projects on time and within budget. Duties Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams during the permitting phase to develop accurate electrical system designs that meet all codes and client specifications. Lead electrical construction estimating efforts using industry-standard software such as Accubid and construction estimating tools to prepare detailed cost proposals. Develop comprehensive project schedules. Review construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints for accuracy, completeness, and constructability; coordinate with design teams to resolve issues early in the process. Manage electrical system design documents including blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications aligned with NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards. Oversee permitting processes by preparing documentation for local authorities and ensuring compliance with all electrical building codes and regulations. Coordinate with procurement teams on material selections, cost management, and contract management to optimize project budgets. Lead project team members in managing large-scale electrical projects from pre-construction through closeout while maintaining safety standards and quality control. Experience Proven experience in electrical engineering or electrical project management within the construction industry. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Accubid, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong background in managing large-scale electrical projects including system design, blueprint reading, construction scheduling, and cost control. Familiarity with electrical building codes (NEC), NFPA 70 compliance standards, permitting phases, and schematic development. Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Hands-on experience reviewing construction drawings and schematics for accuracy and constructability. Excellent time management skills with a focus on project schedule coordination and meeting deadlines.
