  • Employee Assistance Program Summary We are seeking a Dirt (GPS) Foreman to work on various projects in Arizona.
The Dirt Foreman is responsible for the excavation and movement of soil, including the coordination of subcontractors' work. Responsible for all field activities associated with the project, including ultimate responsibility for implementation of our Safety Program for the job site, supervision of all field construction work by subcontractors and self-performed work. Shares responsibility with the project manager for developing the project budget, actively participating in the preconstruction phase, and ensuring that the project is built on time, within budget, and according to company policies and procedures. Manages and mentors leadmen and other field personnel. Essential Functions
  • Manage, supervise and coordinate onsite work crews;
  • Attend and facilitate coordination, production and safety meetings;
  • Tracking and recording daily production of the crews and reporting back to the superintendent;
  • Communicate with onsite subcontractors, general contractors and/or owners
  • Participate in training and other forms of development to strengthen technical, safety and other skills;
  • Maintain a clean job site: ensure all tools and equipment are picked up and secure job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards;
  • Supervise installation and completion of work on time and budget;
  • Order and schedule equipment and material(s) deliveries as required;
  • Inputting daily log books, time sheets and other job related paperwork;
  • Operate construction equipment as required.
