Contract (2 Months) Overview We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a mechanical unit replacement project in Winslow, NJ. This is a 2-month contract requiring a hands-on professional to manage all on-site activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. This is a client-side role focused on site supervision, contractor management, and project coordination throughout the mechanical replacement works. Key Responsibilities Act as the client's representative on-site throughout the mechanical unit replacement project Oversee day-to-day site activities and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently Coordinate mechanical contractors and subcontractors to maintain project progress Monitor work to ensure it complies with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards Conduct regular site inspections and identify any issues or risks Lead site meetings and provide progress updates to stakeholders Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed on site Track project progress and report on schedule, quality, and any delays Resolve day-to-day site issues and escalate where necessary Support successful project completion within the contract timeframe Requirements Proven experience as a Site Manager on mechanical or MEP projects Experience overseeing mechanical equipment or HVAC unit replacement projects is highly desirable Strong understanding of construction site management and contractor coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements Strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work full-time on site for the duration of the project Preferred Experience Previous experience managing mechanical plant replacement or similar building services projects Experience working on commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, or public-sector facilities OSHA certification or other relevant site safety qualifications are advantageous
