Our reputation is built on craftsmanship, honest communication with homeowners, and finishing projects on time and on budget. As we take on more work, we are hiring a Project Manager to own the day-to-day execution of our jobs from contract to final walkthrough. The Role The Project Manager is the person who makes our projects run. You are the single point of accountability for schedule, budget, quality, safety, and homeowner experience across multiple active jobs at once. You will plan the work, sequence the trades, manage subcontractors and suppliers, track costs, communicate with clients, and walk every job site regularly to keep things moving. This is a field-based role; you should expect to be in trucks and on job sites most days, not behind a desk. What You Will Do Own end-to-end execution of assigned residential projects: custom new builds, additions, whole-home remodels, and kitchen and bath renovations. Build and maintain detailed project schedules; sequence trades and inspections so crews are never waiting on each other. Read and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, and specifications; identify conflicts before they hit the field.
Manage subcontractors and suppliers:
solicit bids, write scopes of work, issue purchase orders, and hold trades accountable to quality and schedule. Track project budgets line by line; manage change orders, allowances, and selections; flag cost overruns early. Pull and coordinate permits and inspections; ensure all work meets local code and ODM quality standards. Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners: weekly updates, selection deadlines, walkthroughs, and timely answers to questions. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site; enforce OSHA standards and ODM site rules. Conduct pre-construction, rough-in, and final walkthroughs; manage punch lists through closeout.
Document everything:
daily logs, photos, RFIs, change orders, and project files. What You Bring 3+ years managing residential construction projects, ideally a mix of new builds and remodels. Fluent in reading architectural and structural plans and specifications. Strong working knowledge of all residential trades — framing, MEP, drywall, tile, cabinetry, finish carpentry — enough to spot bad work before the homeowner does. Track record of finishing jobs on schedule and within budget. Comfortable managing 3-6 active projects simultaneously without dropping balls. Strong communication skills with homeowners, designers, architects, and trades. Proficient with construction management software (Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or similar) and standard office tools (Excel, email, scheduling apps). Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to be on job sites daily. Familiarity with local building codes and permitting processes in los angeles Nice to Have Hands-on trade background (carpentry, GC field experience) before moving into PM work. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification. Bilingual English / Spanish. Experience working directly with architects and interior designers on custom builds. What We Offer Competitive base salary: [$65,000 - $85,000] depending on experience. Performance bonus tied to project profitability and on-time delivery. Company vehicle or vehicle allowance, phone, and laptop. Paid time off and paid holidays. A real seat at the table: you will run your jobs, not push paper for someone else. A pipeline of interesting, high-quality residential work and a team that takes pride in finishing strong. How to Apply Apply here in indeed and submit resume
