  • $19 Position Summary The Administrator
  • Adult Residential Facility (ARF) is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of an assigned Adult Residential Facility.
This position ensures the delivery of high-quality, person-centered services while maintaining compliance with California Department of Social Services (CDSS) regulations, Title 17 requirements, Title 22 regulations, Regional Center standards, and AIMES Homes policies and procedures. Working collaboratively with House Leads and Direct Support Professionals, the Administrator oversees all aspects of facility operations, including resident care, employee supervision, regulatory compliance, staffing, quality assurance, and operational performance. The Administrator is responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, teamwork, and continuous improvement while ensuring the health, safety, dignity, and rights of the individuals served. Through effective leadership, coaching, and collaboration, the Administrator promotes employee development, maintains a safe and supportive environment, builds positive relationships with residents, families, Regional Center representatives, and community partners, and ensures the facility consistently meets AIMES Homes' standards of excellence in care and service delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The responsibilities outlined below represent the primary duties of the role; however, this job description is not all inclusive, additional tasks may be assigned at Operations Manager discretion or as needed to support operational needs: The essential duties include, but are not limited to: Supervise and manage all aspects of the facility. Ultimately responsible for health and safety of consumers. Responsible for all administrative and budgetary functions in running the facility. Responsible for hiring, training and disciplinary actions and terminations for all staff. Establish and monitor work performance, service evaluation criteria and reporting procedures as part of the quality improvement process. Follow through and implement corrective action. Conduct staff meetings, consumer staffing, and coordinating sessions with other services. Develop plans and procedures defining lines of responsibility, workloads, and staff supervision, Will implement and manage the service according to program plan. Will manage consumer's records and monitor their progress. Maintain all staff personnel records as required. Assess program effectiveness at achieving consumer's goals. Maintain adequate supplies, materials, food, and emergency equipment to meet consumer's needs. Ensure implementation of consumer's rights and needs as identified in their care plan. Coordinate plans and flow of information between home, work, and day program. Coordinate plans and flow of information between home and families/conservators. Maintain the physical property in a safe, clean and attractive condition. The Administrator shall be on the premises the number of hours necessary to assure compliance. with applicable law and regulations. Make presentations and provide consultation to other staff, other agencies and the community at large.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position directly supervises House Leads and indirectly oversees all staff assigned to the Administrator's facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing direct care and/or supervisory services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory or leadership role. High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate required. Valid California Driver License with an acceptable driving record and current proof of automobile insurance. Current Adult Residential Facility (ARF) Administrator Certification issued by the California Department of Social Services, and the ability to maintain certification throughout employment. Ability to Successful completion and maintenance of all required Direct Support Professional (DSP I and DSP II) training and certifications. Ability to Successful completion and maintenanceCPR certification. Ability to Successful completion and maintenanceCurrent First Aid certification. Ability to Successful completion and maintenanceCrisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification. Ability to Successful completion of a pre-employment health screening, including a negative tuberculosis (TB) test, and the ability to maintain all required health clearances. Ability to successfully complete and maintain all additional state-required and AIMES Homes required training and certifications.

Fast work pace with frequent changes. Expected to meet deadlines. Efficient communication, writing and reading skills.
Work Environment:
Work is performed in residential care facilities, community locations, and office settings. The employee may be exposed to: Behavioral crises Medical emergencies Communicable illnesses Cleaning chemicals Outdoor weather conditions Driving between multiple locations This position requires availability outside normal business hours to respond to emergencies, staffing needs, and operational issues.
