We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. We'll rely on you to provide support to our Cal Water Construction Management team on critical projects while fostering a culture of continuous learning and inclusion as you bring fresh ideas to the table. You'll work alongside local leaders, subject matter experts, professional engineers, and designers, gaining exposure to residential water tank sites and so much more. Working together, we'll help you grow and pursue what fulfills you so that we can make impacts on the future - big and small, global, and local. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Generating Meeting Minutes Review of Contractor Submittals Generate RFI Documentation Review of Contractor Change Orders Maintaining Project Logs Maintaining As-Builts/Redlines Single Point of Contact for Client, Contractor, and Designer Start-up, Testing, and Commissioning Support Manage projects from Bid to Closeout Pave the way for your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed - today and into tomorrow. Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. 5+ years of experience in construction/management/inspection for projects with a background in Water/WasteWater. Knowledge of construction including material, methods, plans and specifications; associated safety requirements. Knowledge of California Building Codes Able and willing to work flexible hours to support the Project needs. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Ideally, you'll also have: Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs Self-driven time management and organizational skills Have or are working towards an engineer-in-training (EIT) certification Have or are working toward a certified construction manager (CCM) certification #WestPMCM #LI-CS1
