  • Multifamily Construction Position Overview We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead multifamily new construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. The Project Manager will coordinate across design, trade partners, owners, and internal teams, manage project schedules and budgets, enforce quality control, and maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of multifamily new construction projects, including preconstruction planning, permitting, procurement, construction, and closeout. Develop, monitor, and update project schedules using Microsoft Project and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure on-time delivery. Prepare, track, and control project budgets, cost forecasts, and change orders to meet financial targets. Oversee quality control processes and inspections to ensure work meets design specifications, codes, and company standards. Manage subcontractor selection, contracts, performance, and coordination on site; lead weekly coordination meetings and resolve field issues. Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintain OSHA 30 awareness on site, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Utilize Procore (or similar construction management platforms) to manage documentation, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and drawings. Provide regular project reporting to stakeholders, including progress updates, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. Lead project closeout activities: punch lists, warranty documentation, final inspections, and turnover to ownership/property management. Mentor and coordinate with project engineers, superintendents, and other project staff to improve team performance and project outcomes. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in construction management. 5+ years of project management experience in multifamily new construction or large-scale residential developments. Proven experience with project scheduling tools (Microsoft Project) and construction management software (Procore preferred). Strong budgeting and cost-control skills with experience preparing and managing project budgets and change orders. Demonstrated knowledge of quality control procedures, construction means and methods, and building codes. OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain upon hire; strong commitment to jobsite safety practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with a track record of coordinating diverse teams. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
