full-time We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards, while managing subcontractors, coordinating with project management teams, and maintaining strong client relationships on-site. Key Responsibilities Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities from mobilization through project closeout Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met Supervise subcontractors and self-perform crews, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards Enforce site safety protocols and maintain a strong safety culture in line with OSHA regulations Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and inspectors to resolve field issues Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and documentation Manage material deliveries, equipment, and site logistics Lead pre-construction and weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders Ensure compliance with local building codes and permitting requirements Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Proven track record managing projects of similar scope and value Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and Bay Area building codes OSHA 30 certification required Proficiency with scheduling software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, or similar) Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
