This senior-level position will lead construction strategy, contractors, budgets, schedules, risk management, and project delivery from pre-construction through final closeout and turnover. Responsibilities Lead large-scale hillside grading, bridge, transportation corridors, flood control, water, utility, and infrastructure projects. Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, cost forecasts, change orders, claims, and overall financial performance. Oversee bidding, contractor selection, negotiations, contract administration, and construction execution. Direct field operations, inspections, quality, safety, and compliance with plans, permits, specifications, environmental requirements, and agency standards. Coordinate contractors, consultants, utilities, municipalities, regulatory agencies, and internal teams. Review RFIs, submittals, pay applications, schedules, change orders, and project documentation. Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving construction, permitting, and agency issues. Provide senior leadership with clear updates on cost, schedule, risks, milestones, and project performance. Education & Experience 8+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction, public works, land development, or major infrastructure. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction, hillside grading, utilities, bridges, transportation, water infrastructure, and multi-phase development. Proficient in cutting edge tools and technology, Microsoft products, Propeller, CAD, GIS, Smartsheet and Procore Proven experience managing complex projects, contractors, budgets, schedules, permitting, and agency coordination. Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Pay:
$150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per yearBenefits:
