full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead field operations for complex TI, laboratory, life science, advanced technology, and commercial construction projects throughout the Bay Area. The Senior Superintendent will have overall responsibility for safety, quality, schedule, site logistics, subcontractor coordination, and project execution from mobilization through closeout. Key Responsibilities Lead day-to-day field operations on projects up to $40MM. Develop and maintain project schedules, sequencing, logistics, and look-ahead plans. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, deliveries, and site activities. Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce project and OSHA requirements. Ensure construction meets plans, specifications, quality standards, and schedule requirements. Coordinate complex MEP, laboratory utilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, controls, and specialty systems . Identify and resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule risks. Lead subcontractor, coordination, safety, and OAC meetings as required. Work closely with the Project Manager, Project Executive, design team, owner, and consultants. Maintain accurate field documentation, daily reports, schedules, and quality records. Lead punch list, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities. Mentor and lead Assistant Superintendents and other field personnel. Qualifications 10+ years of commercial construction experience, with significant TI, laboratory, life science, healthcare, or advanced technology experience. Proven experience leading projects up to $40MM. Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and MEP coordination. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of OSHA and construction safety requirements. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction technology preferred. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred, but not required. Ideal Candidate A hands-on, field-driven leader who takes ownership of the project, anticipates problems, holds subcontractors accountable, and consistently delivers safe, high-quality projects on schedule . Experience with lab/life science, cleanrooms, complex MEP systems, occupied buildings, and fast-track TI projects is highly desirable. Compensation $2000,000-$240,000+ base salary , depending on experience and qualifications, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
