Job Summary The Superintendent schedules, manages, and supervises all construction activities at the site of each assigned project. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with contract documents, within budget and schedule, and to a high standard of quality and safety at all times. Responsibilities Read and understand all contract documents, including drawings, specifications, addendums, and RFIs. Perform detailed plan reviews to identify and understand all scopes of work required for the project. Create and update the project schedule using MS Project, or update a schedule created by the Project Manager. Create, update, and distribute a 3-week look-ahead schedule. Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all construction activities on site. Ensure construction activities are performed in accordance with contract documents and proper sequencing. Coordinate, attend, and document all inspections and special testing requirements. Create and submit all required reports, including Daily, Quality Control, Safety, and MOP reports. Perform the 3-Phases of Quality Control when a Quality Control Manager is not assigned to the project. Verify subcontractor material and equipment release timelines to ensure availability on site when needed. Support management of GLB employees and subcontractors on site, enforcing company policies and procedures. Implement, monitor, and adjust Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) measures as necessary. Maintain organized contract documents, including drawings, submittals, RFIs, and daily logs. Maintain effective working relationships with inspectors, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Participate in progress meetings, providing input on progress, upcoming work, and potential delays or conflicts. Coordinate and supervise delivery of materials, tools, and equipment to the jobsite. Evaluate workforce, material, and equipment needs on an ongoing basis, anticipating shortfalls and risks. Formulate and coordinate jobsite security measures. Enforce all corporate and project-specific safety requirements at the jobsite. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or 4 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent. Comfortable working in and alongside ongoing operations in a medical construction environment. OSHA 30-Hour Certification (required). CPR Certified (required). Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Project. Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills. Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) experience and training (preferred).

OSHPD / HCAI

experience (preferred). Federal construction experience (preferred). Certified in Construction Quality Management by

NAVFAC/USACE

(preferred). Work Environment and Physical Requirements Frequent travel to job sites, meetings, and government agencies. Exposure to extreme heat and cold, with high noise levels typical of construction environments. Extended periods of sitting while traveling, as well as standing and walking on the jobsite. Frequent climbing of stairs or ladders. Occasional pushing, pulling, or carrying of objects up to 60 pounds. Use of required personal protective equipment, including hard hat, eye and hearing protection, safety-toe footwear, and gloves.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $134,250.00 per year
