Gilroy, CA•Position Overview Township Building Services is seeking a Foreperson (Working Lead) to support daily janitorial operations. This position works alongside the team while helping coordinate tasks, maintain quality standards, and serve as the primary on-site point of contact. Key Responsibilities Perform janitorial duties while leading by example Support daily task coordination and team direction Assist with training new employees Ensure quality and consistency of work Communicate operational needs and issues to management Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for day-to-day communication Attend monthly meetings with on-site property management Support coverage for staffing needs and call-outs Conduct monthly inventory of supplies and report needs to management Assist with creating daily zone assignments and support monthly schedule coordination Role Clarification This is a working lead position. Supports operations and team coordination Acts as a communication bridge between staff, management, and client Qualifications Janitorial or facilities experience required Leadership or lead experience preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) required Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to follow safety procedures and company standards Compensation Pay in accordance with Union Agreement•$21.25 per hour Lead/Foreperson differential may apply
