This role is ideal for a passionate leader who is committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where youth can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Grounded in the principles outlined by the California Afterschool Network, our program emphasizes active, engaging learning; youth voice and leadership; skill-building; and a culture of safety, respect, and belonging . Key Responsibilities The Site Director is fully responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of high-quality afterschool programming, including but not limited to: Oversee and manage the daily operations of the afterschool program Serve as a positive role model for students and staff through professional dress, communication, and attitude Build strong partnerships by meeting regularly with school principals and staff Collaborate closely with Delhaven leadership to ensure full compliance across all program areas Monitor and verify daily attendance using Cityspan for accuracy Submit required documentation in a timely manner, including: Timesheets Incident reports Schedules, calendars, and weekly updates Attend and actively participate in weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly meetings with district and organizational staff Ensure all incident reports are properly documented and submitted Maintain consistent, positive communication with staff, teachers, administrators, parents, and community members Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where students and staff can reach their full potential Provide coaching, training, and supervision to staff, including implementing disciplinary actions when necessary Support site safety and organization through setup, cleanup, and ongoing maintenance Ensure compliance with child safety policies , including coordination of emergency procedures and monthly drills Quality Standards & Program Philosophy Our program is guided by California's Expanded Learning Quality Standards, which emphasize:
