Los Angeles Area About the Role We are hiring a highly capable Construction Project Manager who (preferably) also holds an active California General Contractor license to lead a high-end residential remodel for an involved ownership group with future Southern California projects in the pipeline. This is not a passive ownership structure. The owner and internal project team are highly engaged, detail-oriented, and hands-on throughout the process. We need someone who is confident working in a collaborative environment, welcomes accountability, communicates clearly, and knows how to keep a complex remodel moving. You will work closely with ownership and an internal Project Coordinator who assists with sourcing, bids, documentation, scheduling support, and administrative follow-through. Current Project Luxury residential remodel involving significant upgrades, coordination across multiple trades, quality finish execution, budget discipline, and close day-to-day oversight. Responsibilities Project Leadership Manage remodel from current stage through completion Build and maintain schedules with clear milestones Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, designers, consultants, and inspectors Keep daily momentum strong and solve issues quickly Field Oversight Maintain site standards, organization, and professionalism Monitor workmanship and quality across all phases Ensure trades are staffed, productive, and accountable Identify problems early and present solutions immediately Budget & Cost Control Review bids and scopes thoroughly Negotiate pricing where appropriate Minimize change orders through proper planning and scope clarity Track approved spending versus actual costs Collaboration with Ownership Team Work directly with a highly involved owner and internal project team Coordinate closely with Project Coordinator on vendor sourcing, scheduling, documentation, and approvals Provide concise, accurate updates with no guesswork Be receptive to input while still leading execution effectively Growth Opportunity Strong performance can lead to involvement in additional Southern California residential projects as ownership expands its development pipeline.
