They oversee meeting the needs of the tenants. Their responsibilities can range from delegating maintenance tasks, hosting community events and handling evictions if needed. As a property porter, you will be responsible for keeping properties neat and organized. Your main duties include sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors, dusting countertops, ceilings and furniture, and sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, or other public areas. You will also be responsible for performing routine inspections to check that spaces like restrooms are always sanitary.
Work Hours:
30 hours a week 9am - 3pm Monday through Friday or 9am - 3pm Tuesday through Saturday if there's a vacant unit to be rented.Living Arrangements :
Community Managers are required to live on-site and will receive an employee discount on the market rent. Essential functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions. Manages and supervises the administration, improvement, maintenance, and general operations of residential properties. Designs, schedules, and coordinates general upkeep, major repairs, remodeling, or construction projects of the property. Collects fees, including those for monthly assessments, rentals, deposits, insurance, taxes, or other operating expenses. Determine whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the grounds, facilities, and equipment. Acts as the liaison between onsite managers, tenants, and owners. Shows properties, explains terms of occupancy, and provides information about the community to prospective tenants. Devises and implements marketing plans for vacant spaces. Develops and presents detailed budgets and financial reports on the property. Maintains property records including sales, rental or usage activity; maintenance and operating costs; special permits issued; and property availability. Describes and imposes guidelines, rules, and regulations to tenants, visitors, and the community. Great communication with management company, tenants, visitors, and vendors. Cleaning spills, broken glass, and other messes as quickly as possible Identifying maintenance and repair items and finding the best solution for those repairs. Performing maintenance activities related to cleaning and basic handyman skills Organizing maintenance supplies and storage Cleaning and sanitizing of shared facilities and common spaces. Washes windows. Modifies scope of cleaning and maintenance based on particular property characteristics (apartments, parking facilities, etc.) Maintain quality standards and expectations Performs other related duties as assigned. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Physical demands Sit for long periods of time. Must be able to lift at least 15-25 pounds at times. Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer Travel required Travel may be required at times.
