Field Permit Coordinator (Admin, On the Road) $21-$24/hour

• California About the Role You'll be the face of Energuy at local building departments, submitting permit applications, picking up approved permits, and troubleshooting issues in person. When you're not on the road, you'll support our Permit team with research, filing, and communication to keep jobs moving. This is a clerical and admin role that happens in the field, not a trades or technical position. Your schedule varies day to day based on which departments you visit, and about 80% of your time is on the road. It's ideal for someone who's organized, comfortable driving between locations daily, and good at building rapport with department staff.

What You'll Do Submit and pick up permits at building departments Resolve permit issues in person with department staff Check in daily with the Field Manager and Permit team on priorities Answer phones and emails, mail permits, and file documents Respond to contractor requests Keep records and reports organized What You Need Valid driver's license, clean driving record, 5+ years of driving experience High school diploma or equivalent Reliable, punctual, and professional Strong communication skills Comfortable handling several stops and tasks in one day Takes ownership without constant direction
