Job Description

Electrical Superintendent Premier renovation general contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction operations, manage multiple crews, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This position requires strong leadership, field coordination, and the ability to manage multiple job sites and electrical crews. Responsibilities Supervise and manage multiple electrical crews across multiple job sites. Plan and coordinate installation of electrical systems including switchgear, feeders, lighting systems, generators, and underground electrical. Interpret electrical plans, specifications, and blueprints and communicate scope to field crews. Ensure all work complies with local codes, building codes, and electrical safety standards. Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project schedules. Monitor job productivity, quality, and project costs. Maintain field documentation including timesheets, production reports, and job logs. Work closely with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors. Supervise and mentor field personnel (15+ electricians). Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects moving forward. Project Documentation Prepare and submit RFIs (Requests for Information) when clarification of plans or specifications is required. Review and manage submittals for electrical materials and equipment. Prepare and track CORs (Change Order Requests) and assist with pricing related to scope changes. Maintain documentation of field changes and coordinate with project management. Estimating & Technical Skills Perform complete electrical takeoffs from construction plans. Prepare project estimates and assist with bid preparation. Review proposal specifications and drawings to determine project scope. Request and review supplier quotes for materials and equipment. Prepare change order estimates and cost breakdowns. Requirements Journeyman Electrician Certification or equivalent experience preferred. Experience managing multiple electrical crews and job sites. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, Title 24 lighting controls, switchgear, feeders, underground electrical, and generators. Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proven ability to deliver projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
