Superintendent

Summary A reputable general contractor is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee field operations across commercial and healthcare construction projects. This role is responsible for managing jobsite execution from mobilization through completion, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate has strong experience running projects in active environments and can lead subcontractors, coordinate inspections, and keep projects moving efficiently. Key Responsibilities Run day-to-day field operations from start through project completion Manage subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to ensure quality and productivity Build and maintain project schedules, including 3-week lookaheads Coordinate inspections with city, state, and third-party agencies Manage jobsite safety, conduct safety meetings, and enforce compliance Oversee quality control and ensure work meets plans and specifications Track and submit daily reports, RFIs, change events, photos, and documentation in Procore Coordinate material deliveries and manage lead times Work closely with Project Manager and Project Engineer on project execution Manage punch list completion and support closeout activities Maintain organized, clean, and efficient jobsite conditions Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Experience with healthcare or regulated environments preferred Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination Proficient with Procore and construction documentation workflows Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and scopes OSHA 30 certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Stable project pipeline with long-term growth
