$160-$200K Base Salary Regional Program Director - Federal Construction Position Summary Our client is launching a new federal construction-focused office in San Diego and is seeking a Regional Program Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of federal construction projects throughout the market. This leader will drive performance across projects in pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery excellence in scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder alignment. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic program leadership for multiple concurrent federal construction projects across the region, spanning pre-construction, active construction, and project closeout. Own overall project oversight and governance, including performance tracking, risk management, issue escalation and resolution, and executive-level reporting. Lead resource planning across the regional portfolio (manpower, equipment, materials), balancing priorities to meet schedule and delivery commitments. Coordinate and align all internal and external stakeholders, including federal clients, contracting officers and representatives, designers, general contractors, subcontractors, and consultants. Provide direction during pre-construction, including constructability input, procurement strategy support, schedule validation, and cost and change management alignment. Ensure project execution aligns with applicable federal requirements, contract documents, and delivery standards, while promoting best practices in quality and compliance. Mentor and develop project leadership (project managers, superintendents, project controls, etc.), building a scalable team as the Seattle office grows. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree (Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred). 10+ years of experience overseeing federal construction projects in the Pacific Northwest. Proven success leading multi-project portfolios and guiding teams through multiple construction phases (pre-construction through closeout). Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
